Research Laboratory of Methods of Analysis and Synthesis of Dynamic Systems
Areas of research
- qualitative theory and constructive methods of optimization and optimal control;
- mathematical and numerical modeling of hydrodynamic problems in the presence of a free surface;
- parallel algorithms for solving large problems;
- numerical methods for solving stiff systems;
- general and asymptotic theory of stochastic differential equations with standard and fractional Brownian motion;
- controllability and stability of dynamic systems;
- development of methods for solving stationary two- and three-dimensional problems of thermomagnetic convection in a porous medium;
- computer modeling methods, development and implementation of software for calculating the characteristics of the processes of geoecology, geovisualization.
The laboratory collaborates with the departments of the mathematical theory of systems and computational methods and mathematical modeling of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences. The main area of cooperation is the development of new methods and algorithms. Collaboration is confirmed by joint scientific publications.
